POOL PRODUCTS

ADJUSTMENT

ADJUSTMENT: These products balance different parameters for increased bathing comfort and sparkling Water. Includes pH+, pH-, Total Alkalinity, Calcium Hardness and Stabilizer.

The pH varies with various elements and these variations can be problematic. It is advisable to check the pH often and adjust it if necessary. The pH is the most important parameter of all. The ability of chlorine to effectively and completely fulfill its role depends on the pH level of the pool. A high or low rate inevitably causes sanitation problems.

PH +

Increases pH of water to recommended levels. Fast and completely dissolving granules. For bathing comfort, the pH of the water should be maintained at a level between 7.2 and 7.8. If pH is lower than these parameters, water will become acid creating a faster chlorine dissipation which can cause eye and skin irritation and other problems.

PH -

Lowers pH of water to recommended levels. Fast and completely dissolving granules. Safer to handle than liquid acids. For bathing comfort, the pH of the water should be maintained at a level between 7.2 and 7.8. If pH is higher than these parameters, water will become basic and create a reduction in the effectiveness of chlorine which can cause eye and skin irritation and other problems.

Alkalinity ensures the stability of your pH. It prevents variations in your pH, and therefore helps to manage the acidity or basicity of the water.

Total alkalinity is a measure of all alkaline materials dissolved in water. This has a direct effect on the ability of the water to resist changes in pH. Low alkalinity can cause the pH level to fluctuate up or down. For example, high alkalinity can make it difficult to adjust the pH level when necessary.

ALKA +

Increases Total Alkalinity of water to recommended levels. Balances water to avoid pH fluctuations. Fast and completely dissolving powder. *** Please note that to lower the total alkalinity of a swimming pool it is necessary to use muriatic acid.

Limestone is an enemy to be wary of when you own a swimming pool. Calcium or calcium hardness is an important part of the pool water balance to prevent corrosion of the equipment.

CALCIUM +

Increases calcium hardness of swimming pool water to prevent corrosion of equipment. Fast and completely dissolving granules.

Chlorine is a chemical element that decomposes at high speed under the sun's rays. To counter this degradation phenomenon and maintain the correct chlorine efficiency in the pool, the use of a stabilizer is essential. You only need to add the stabilizer to the pool water once a year, at the start of the season.

STABILIZER

Extends active life of chlorine in pool water by stabilizing it and protecting it from the sun’s destructive ultraviolet rays.
